Call Back

Call Back
Allows you to make a call to the last directory number called.

To activate this feature:
Dial *66 and wait for the party to answer. If you receive a busy signal, a confirmation tone will be heard and the system will continue to attempt to connect until the party is free. When the line is free, you will be alerted with a special ring.

Call Block

Call Block by pressing *60
• Turn Call Block on and off by pressing 3.
• Follow the voice prompts to customize your Call Block Service

Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding
Allows you to transfer incoming calls to another number of your choice.

To activate this feature:
dial *72 and listen for confirmation, followed by a dial tone. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded. If someone answers, call forwarding is activated. If the call is unanswered, repeat the above steps within two minutes.

To cancel this feature:
Dial *73 and listen for confirmation.

Call Forwarding Busy

Call Forwarding Busy
Allows you to transfer incoming calls after receiving a busy signal to another number of your choice.

To activate this feature:
Dial *90 and listen for confirmation, followed by a dial tone. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded. If someone answers, the feature is activated. If the call is unanswered, repeat the above steps within two minutes.

To cancel this feature:
Dial *91 and listen for confirmation, followed by a dial tone.

Call Forwarding Fixed

Call Forwarding Fixed
Allows you to transfer incoming calls after receiving a busy signal to another number of your choice.

To activate this feature:
Dial *90 and listen for confirmation, followed by a dial tone. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded. If someone answers, the feature is activated. If the call is unanswered, repeat the above steps within two minutes.

To cancel this feature:
Dial *91 and listen for confirmation, followed by a dial tone.

Call Forwarding No Answer
Call Forwarding No Answer Allows you to transfer incoming calls when the call remains unanswered for a predefined period of time. To activate this feature: dial *92 and listen for confirmation, followed by a dial tone. Dial the number you want your calls forwarded to. If someone answers, the feature is activated. If the call is unanswered, repeat the above steps within two minutes. To cancel this feature: dial *93 and listen for confirmation.
Enhanced Call Forwarding

Enhanced Call Forwarding No Answer
Allows you to set the number of rings (2-9) before call forwarding transfers the incoming calls.

To activate this feature:
Use the same call forwarding activation/deactivation procedure as above but enter the number of rings (2-9) desired before the forward-to-number as a single digit string.

Call Reject

Call reject
This is used to block all incoming calls that have their ID blocked.

To activate this feature:
Dial *77 and listen for confirmation.

To cancel this feature:
Dial *87 and listen for confirmation.

Call Return

Call Return
Allows you to place a call to the last incoming call you received.

To activate this feature:
Dial *69 and wait for the party to answer.

To cancel this feature:
If the call was unanswered or busy, dial *89.

Call Trace

Call Trace
Allows you to request a trace of the last call received on a per-call basis. This feature requires coordination with local law enforcement agencies and written authorization from the customer.

Call Transfer

Call Transfer
Allows you to redirect a call to another line.To use this feature, receive or complete a call with a party, then press and release the switch hook/flash button to receive the recall dial tone. Dial the number of the second party. After the second party answers, hang up and the transfer is complete. The first and second party stay connected. er.

Call Waiting

Call Waiting
This alerts you with a beep during a telephone conversation that another call is waiting to be answered.

• To answer the call, press and release the switch hook/flash button.
• To alternate between calls, press and release the switch hook/flash button.
• To cancel Call Waiting on a per call basis, dial *70 and wait for the dial tone before placing your call.

Call Waiting/Caller ID

Call Waiting/Caller ID
Allows you to receive incoming call information while you are on a call.

Caller ID

Caller ID
Allows you to see the calling party’s name and phone number before answering the call. A special display device located on or near your telephone is required to allow you to view the calling number.

Caller ID Block per Call

(This feature is available at no charge)

To activate this feature:
Dial *67, wait for confirmation beeps, and then dial.

Caller ID Blocking

Caller ID Blocking
Prevents the transmission of your ID without having to dial any codes prior to placing your call.

To deactivate this feature on a per call basis, dial *82 before dialing your call.

Distinctive Ring
Distinctive Ring Allows you to have up to six telephone numbers with unique ringing patterns.
Priority Call

Priority Call
Priority Call Allows you to designate special ringing patterns for calls from parties on a programmed list.

• Access Priority Call by pressing *61
• Turn Priority Call on and off by pressing 3.
• Follow the voice prompts to customize your Priority Call Service.

Remote Call Forwarding

Remote Call Forwarding
Remote Call Forwarding Allows you to place a direct call to a remote activation destination number from any location.

To activate this feature:
Place a direct call to the remote activation destination number, listen for the confirmation, and then dial your home destination number. Then dial the security code followed by #. If the code matches the provisioned code, a confirmation tone will be heard. Proceed with the call forwarding activation/deactivation procedure as if dialing from home (*72 or *73).

Revertive Call (Home Intercom)

Revertive Call (Home Intercom)
(This feature is available at no charge) Dial your 7-digit telephone number, then hang up.

Selective Call Acceptance

Selective Call Acceptance
Allows you to screen incoming calls by creating a list of phone numbers from which you are willing to accept calls.

Access Selective Call Acceptance by pressing *64 • Turn Selective Call Acceptance on and off by pressing 3. • Follow the voice prompts to customize your Selective Call Acceptance Service

Selective Call Forwarding

Selective Call Forwarding
Selective Call Forwarding Allows you to create a list of phone numbers that are to be forwarded when they call you.

• Access Selective Call Forwarding by pressing *63
• Turn Selective Call Forwarding on and off by pressing 3.
• Follow the voice prompts to customize your Selective Call Forwarding Service.

Single Number Service
Allows a caller to dial a number with the ability to reach up to 20 numbers simultaneously or in sequence.
Speed Calling

Speed Calling
Speed Calling Allows you to call a telephone number from a list in memory.

To store the list, dial *74 for one-digit Speed Calling (codes 2-9), or dial *75 for two-digit Speed Calling (codes 20-49). Listen for confirmation and dial tone. Enter the Speed Calling code (2-9 or 20-49), then the telephone number. Listen for confirmation and dial tone, then hang up. To use this feature, dial the Speed Calling code.

To change the list, follow the above steps to store your changes.

To review a Speed Dial List, dial *78 for one-digit Speed Calling and *79 for two-digit Speed Calling.

Telemarketer Screening

Telemarketer Screening
Allows a customer to screen or block unsolicited telephone calls (unavailable/unknown/out of area). An announcement is played and the caller must dial the digit (1) mentioned to proceed.

Three-Way Calling

Three-Way Calling
Three-Way Calling Allows you to add a third party to an existing telephone conversation.

To add a third party, press and release the switch hook/flash button to place the present call on hold. Dial the third party’s telephone number and press and release the switch hook/flash button for a three-way call.

Toll Restriction

Toll Restriction
Toll Restriction Allows you to block calls to certain subscribers-specified destinations.

A Toll Control PIN, which allows you to prevent any long distance calls from being placed unless a PIN is entered, is available through GTC Long Distance.

Voice Mail

Voice Mail (VM) Allows you to have an answering service on your phone line that may be accessed from any place.

Step 1:                                                                                                                                                                                                       From your home phone dial *83.                                                                                                                                                       From a different phone dial your 10-digit telephone number (include 1 if out of area), press the * key while the greeting is playing.

Step 2:                                                                                                                                                                                                       Enter your password, when prompted, followed by # key. (Default is 1234#).

You will hear the following options:
Main menu:                                                                                                                                                                                                      1 – Listen to Messages,   7 – Date/Time,   9 – Set Up VM,    0 – To Hear Again                                                                                               (5 – Dial Configured Outdial Number -option available on request).

Set Up VM Options:                                                                                                                                                                                        1 – Greeting Options,   2 – Change Password,   8 – Record Name,   * – Return to Main Menu,                                                                  0 – To Hear Instructions Again   (7 – Edit Outdial Number – option available on request).

Greeting Options:                                                                                                                                                                                           1 – Play the Current Greeting,   2 – Re-record the Current Greeting,   3 – Delete the Current Greeting,                                                   5 – Pick a New Greeting (0-9),   * – Return to Main Menu,   0 – To Hear Instructions Again

Change Password Options:                                                                                                                                                                “Please enter your new password, followed by the # key”. You will then be asked to enter it again to verify the new password. Upon successful verification, the password will be setup/changed and you will be taken to the VM setup menu. You may press * to return to the main menu, or you may disconnect.

Warm Line

Warm Line
This feature will automatically dial a preset number if the handset is left off the hook for a period without dialing.
