Gorham Telephone Company offers local telephone service for residential and business lines in and around the communities of Gorham, Paradise, Luray and Waldo, Kansas.

800 Number
This service can be used by family and friends out of town or allow business customers to reach you toll free. 800 Number service is $2.95 per month and .13¢ per minute.
Do Not Call List
The Federal Trade Commission has established a list for consumers to register their phone number to reduce telemarketing calls. Telephone consumers may register their phone numbers on the Do Not Call Registry. There is no cost to list your number.

The Kansas Attorney General’s office is responsible for enforcing the Kansas No-Call Act. This act prohibits businesses from calling consumers in order to sell a product or service. Organizations soliciting charitable donations, calls concerning political candidates or issues, or other calls unrelated to the sale of property or services do not fall within the scope of the Kansas No-Call Act.

Kansas Telecommunications Access Program (TAP)

TAP is a program funded by the Kansas Universal Service Fund (KUSF) that allows customers with disabilities or impairments the ability to get the proper equipment needed for telephone service.

The Federal Communications Commission and the Kansas Corporation Commission have established a program to make telephone service more affordable to eligible customers. Kansas Relay Service

The Kansas Relay Center facilitates communication with Kansans that have hearing and/or speech disabilities. These persons communicate with a telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD), a combination telephone/typewriter that enables the individual to type out his or her portion of the conversation.
